According to the Puranas, Sudarshana Chakra is used for the ultimate destruction of an enemy. The depiction of Vishnu with Sudarshana Chakra also means that Vishnu is the keeper-owner of the celestial bodies and heavens.
The following Sudarshan Moola mantra can be regularly chanted to remove all miseries caused by enemies, for protection from unforeseen events and to keep evil entities like ghosts away.
Regular chanting of this mantra will cover the devotee’s body in a divine aura by the grace of lord Sudarshana. This mantra is especially useful for the exorcism of ghosts.

Try to repeat the mantra for 11 or 108 times daily in the morning or evening (before sunset). It can be made a highly beneficial habit to help us live happily in this ‘ Kali-Yuga’

Meaning of Maha Sudarshana Mantra

O Lord Krishna, the one who is the controller of all the senses, the one who is the beloved of the Gopees, the one who is the Supreme Soul , the Paramatma, protect me from all the evil acts of others, evil mantra and weapons.  O Lord, who holds the Maha Sudarsana and lights all the eight directions, I surrender myself before thee.

Significance of Mahasudarsana Moola Mantra

Sudarshana is the discuss weapon of Lord Vishnu.  It is also used by the other forms of Lord Vishnu, such as Krishna, Narayana, Narsimha etc. The weapon is used to destroy the evil.  So on reciting the Sudarshana maha mantra regularly we can win over the evil.  

Mahasudarshan mantra can even destroy the darkness within our own mind.  So the sloka of Sudarsana Maha Mantra is good to win over enemies, self purification and even spiritual advancement. It also purifies our Soul  

Maha Sudarsana Mantra can also bring solution to depression as well.  Once the Lord sends Sudarshana, it will not come back unless the mission is complete.  So the mantra is also equally powerful.

How to chant Sudarshana Maha Mantra

• Get up at brahma muhurtham - at three in the morning.
• Take a bath
• Sit in a yogic posture
• Try to concentrate on the vibrations
• Try to hear each vibration
• Meditate on the form of Lord Krishna and the meaning of each word.

The main effect is that mahasudarsana mantra acts within us as well as with in our opponents and they turn to be our friends.  So it will be difficult for them to attack us.  It is a pure Saatvik method.  We do not want to harm the other person.  
   
Brahma Muhurtham is the time from three in the morning to sunrise.  It is an auspicious time.  Sudarshanamaha mantra being one of the most powerful prayers of Lord Krishna can bring best results if chanted during brahma muhurtham in the morning.  It is a pleasure to chant slowly by listening to each vibration.
