“O playful
Radha, look! Dressed in pitambhara (yellow cloth) and a vanamala
(garland of forest flowers), with sandalwood paste (chandana) smeared
upon his blue limbs, Hari feels the utmost elation as he enjoys with
captivated Gopis in this Vrndavana forest. His earrings dangling in
play, ornament his smiling cheeks. The beauty of his cheeks is
astonishing and his face displays a wondrous sweetness with the honey of
his playful laughter.”

One of the
Gopi’s is firmly embracing Krishna with intense attachment. Pressing the
heavy burden of her voluptuous breasts against Krishna’s chest, she has
begun to sing a melody of love with him, in the fifth musical mode

Another Gopi,
lured by his wanton quivering looks is meditating on the lotus face of
Madhusudhana. He arouses lust in the hearts of sensuous young ladies
with the romantic sidelong glances of his restless eyes, and she is
greedy to drink the honey of his lotus face.

One
curvaceous Gopi has leant her face close to Krishna’s cheek, on the
pretext of whispering a secret in his ear. When Krishna understood
her love -laden intention, He reciprocates. That Gopi seized this favourable opportunity to fulfil her most cherished desire. With the utmost delight, she has begun to kiss his tingling cheek

Another gopi
eager for the art of love, discovered a secluded place in a charming
grove of cane on the banks of river Yamuna. Impelled by a joyful
fascination for the amatory arts, she pulls the Krishna’s pitambhara
with both hands and dragged him away.

Hari praises a Gopi drunk from dancing with beating palms, in the rite of love upon hearing the marvelous melody of his divine flute
combined with the sound of her ringing bangles.

Krishna is
embracing one of his beloveds; he is kissing another and somewhere else
he enjoys passionate caress with another. Elsewhere he gazes expectantly
at the face of another lover, while appreciating the nectar of her
suggestive sweet smile. Somewhere else he mimics a willful Gopi.

May this auspicious, delightful and astounding song of Sri Jayadeva increase the good fame of all. This song bestows all virtues. It describes Radha’s gaze upon the wondrous mystery of the sensual games performed by Krishna as she laments.
