Good morning & have a blessed day, SPIRITUALITY Swami Sivananda When your nature is changed, purified and prepared Divine Grace will flow of itself, illumination will flash of itself, in the firmament of the soul. Bliss and Ananda will spontaneously flow in and fill you when ‘you have emptied yourself of harshness, egoism, pride and passion. Perfection and Immortality will be yours. Where there is kindness, humility and purity there spirituality springs up, saintliness shines, divinity descends and perfection manifests itself. Bathe in the river of Divinity. Plunge in it. Take a dip in it. Swim in it. Float in it. Rejoice. The work which gives elevation, joy and peace of mind is right; that which brings depression, pain, restlessness is wrong. To give pleasure to others is right, to spread misery and pain to others is wrong. - Swami Sivananda OUR PROBLEMS ARE WITHIN: OUR SOLUTIONS ARE WITHIN In this onward movement, in this Godward movement, of the obstacles, difficulties and problems we have to encounter and contend with, only 5% are outside us. As we go along the spiritual path, we realize this more and more. They are 5% outside us and 95% within us. There will be no problem outside if we are not a problem to ourselves within. When God makes us open our eyes to this truth, He confers upon us the greatest blessing; He bestows upon us His greatest benediction. Let us ponder this great question. We have to contend with ourselves twenty-four hours day and night. Whereas the external world is but a passing factor compared to ourselves, we are in company with ourselves all the time. Our inner being, therefore, is everything to us. It is the positive as well as the negative, the greatest strength as well as the worst weakness. It is our hope as well as our despair.
