MESSAGE FOR CONTEMPLATION 856
Radhe krishna,
Good morning &have a blessed day,
5. SIMPLICITY & 6. VERACITY
Swami Sivananda
SIMPLICITY – Be artless. Be simple in your speech. Do not twist words
and topics. Be plain; avoid diplomacy, cunningness and crookedness. Be
simple in your dress. Be simple in your diet. Develop a child-like
nature. VERACITY – Be truthful. Stick to your promises. Do not
exaggerate. Do not twist facts. Think twice before you speak. Speak
truthfully, speak sweetly; be precise in what you say.
Therefore, this is the life, this is the time, this is the great
opportunity. Let each day be lived
with the awareness of this great good fortune, with the awareness of
this supreme blessedness, of
this golden opportunity. Then we shall have nothing to regret. Rather,
we shall have all reason to rejoice.
swami chidananda
“Man proposes; God disposes,” says an old adage. It does not mean that
God is perpetually opposing whatever man does. What really happens is
that when man exerts through his egoism in a manner which violates the
eternal law of God, he naturally feels frustrated, being beaten back
by the law of Truth.

Chant the Maha Mantra
