RELIGION

Religion consists in doing good to others and in practice of love,
mercy, truthfulness, non-violence and purity in all walks of life.
True religion will bring you face to face with God. True religion will
unite you with the inner ruler or indweller and bestow on you eternal
bliss and immortality. Religion is based on truth and non-violence.
Truth is God. Truth and non-violence are not two but one. Non-violence
is the means for attaining God realization. The Universal brotherhood
has its basis in the religion of love.
All the Yoga Margas insist upon this and they also
list all the vices which are to be thrown out.
Trividham Narakasyedham Dvaram Nasanamatmanah
Kamah Krodahs Tatah Lobahs Tasmat Etat Trayam Tyajet
Triple is the gate of this hell, destructive of the Self
lust, anger and greed; therefore one
should abandon these three. (Gita, Ch.VI-21)
Kamah Krodascha Lobhascha Dehe Tishtanti Taskarah
Jnanaratna Apaharaya Tasmat Jagrata Jagrata
That is Sankaracharya --in “Vairagya Dindima”. Lust, anger and greed
are the thieves
staying in the body to steal away the pearl of knowledge; therefore,
be awake, be awake.
And Vyasa Bhagavan says:
Moksham Icchasi Chittaata Vishayaan Vishavat Tyaja
Brahmacharyam Ahimsam Cha Satyam Peeyushavat Bhaja
If you want liberation, shun sense-objects as poison and observe
celibacy, non-injury and
truth as nectar.

The realised soul is all the while happy, and is highly exhilarated
due to the immense realisation that he has, the clarity of perception
that he has attained, and the absolute bliss that he is experiencing.
He sees with wonder the fancy of Samsara (world-existence) and the
play of people around.
