A Sage performs actions only with a view to set an example to the masses. A Sage is absolutely free from the egoistic notion, ""I am the agent or the doer. " He knows that Prakriti or Guna or Swabhava does everything. He thinks and feels "I am the silent witness of all activities. " A Sage has equal vision which he translates into action. A sage does not grieve for the living or the dead, because he fully knows that Atma is immortal and that Atma is unborn. A sage is ever satisfied and does not depend on anything or anybody. A sage truly loves all living beings as his own Self.

If your life is very successful only upon the field of worldly activities and you completely neglect and forget your spiritual activity, then your success is a failure.
