Śrīcaṇḍīprātaḥsmaraṇam

At morning, I remember the supreme Goddess, Whose hands have light rays like the winter moon, Who has gem studded ornaments of crocodile-shaped earrings and a necklace, Whose thousand hands are beautiful blue in color due to excitement from divine ammunition, Whose foot has rays like that of a red-lotus, and Who is supreme.[1]
At morning, I salute Caṇḍī, Who is skilled in destroying legendary demons like Mahiṣāsura, Caṇḍa, Muṇḍa and Śumbha, Who virtuous sport entices Brahmā, Indra and sages, Who is present in all forms of demi-gods, and Who has many appearances.[2]
At morning, I adore Goddess, Who gives the wishes of living-beings, Who is the supporting Mother, Who destroys the difficult pains of the whole world, Who takes a form for the liberation of world from metempsychosis, Who is insurmountable Māyā approached respectfully by Lord Viṣṇu.[3]
He who reads these three śloka on Goddess Caṇḍikā, achieves all the desires and goes to the world of Viṣṇu.[4]
