Explanation:
Come sit and chant the beautiful name of the Lord (Hari). In this
mandir of Shivji. In the mandir there are lovely murtis of Sita and Ram,
Tulsidas says sing the name of Bhagawana, of Lakshman and Hanuman
At morning, I remember the supreme Goddess, Whose hands
have light rays like the winter moon, Who has gem studded ornaments of
crocodile-shaped earrings and a necklace, Whose thousand hands are
beautiful blue in color due to excitement from divine ammunition,
Whose foot has rays like that of a red-lotus, and Who is supreme.[1]
At morning, I salute Caṇḍī, Who is skilled in
destroying legendary demons like Mahiṣāsura,
Caṇḍa, Muṇḍa and Śumbha, Who virtuous sport
entices Brahmā, Indra and sages, Who is present in
all forms of demi-gods, and Who has many appearances.[2]
At morning, I adore Goddess, Who gives the wishes of
living-beings, Who is the supporting Mother, Who destroys the
difficult pains of the whole world, Who takes a form for the
liberation of world from metempsychosis, Who is insurmountable
Māyā approached respectfully by Lord Viṣṇu.[3]
He who reads these three śloka on Goddess
Caṇḍikā, achieves all the desires and goes to the world
of Viṣṇu.[4]

Mantra:
This
Stotra starts with a very important and pious Mantra of the Goddess.
"Om hrim shrim klim sarvapoojye Devi mangal chandike aiem krum fat
swavaha" Everybody is requested to chant/listen this mantra as many
times as possible during the rest of the days of Navaratri to receive
the blessings from the Goddess Devi Mangal Chandika. All desires of the
devotee are fulfilled by chanting this mantra for 10 lakhs (100
thousand) times.
Dhyanam:
Bhagavati Chandika looks of 16 years
always and she is young forever. She is having a soft, tender and
attractive body and her mind is filled with all the virtues. She is of a
fair complexion and her body colour is like a white Champa (Kind Of
flower). Her bodily lustre is like lustre of thousand Moons. She is
wearing the clothes and gem ornaments which are purified by fire. She is
wearing garland of malika flower in her hairs. Her lips are red like
the disc of the sun. Her teeth are very beautiful. Her mouth is like a
lotus. She is having a sweet smile on her delighted face. Her both the
eyes are attractive and are looking like a full bloomed blue lotus. Here
one should all the beauty of a young women and should imagine that the
Goddess Mangal Chndika is more beautiful that her.) Bhagavati Chandika
gives wealth, money and property and she helps us to bear the worldly
duties and obligations. O! Mune! Now listen I am telling you Mangal
Chandika Stotram.
God Shiva Said:
Mother of the world, Bhagavati
Mangal Chandika you are destroyer of all the difficulties and giver of
happiness and blessings. Please help me. Please help me. You are very
liberal in giving happiness and blessings. You are Harsha Mangal
Chandika. You are Shubha. You are Mangal-Daksha. You are
Shubha-Mangal-Chandika. You are Mangala. You are Mangalarha (Giver of
blessings). You are also called as Sarva-Mangal-Mangala. O! Goddess, by
nature you are helping good people. All people depend on you and
surrender you for your blessings. O! Goddess, you are goddess of the
planet Mangal (Mars). People should worship you on Tuesday. You are the
Goddess of king Mangal who was from Manu-Vansha (family). You give the
freedom from worldly bondage. By worshiping you on Tuesday. O! Goddess
you are giver of blessings, happiness, wealth, property and everything
desired. You are behind the cause (creation) of the world. You are
beyond the Karm-Bhoga. God Shiva recited this stotra and worships the
Goddess on Tuesday. Then God Shiva acquired the necessary power, energy
and blessings from the Goddess Mangal-Chandika to destroy the demon
Tripurasur.
Anybody who listens/recites this stotra with devotion,
concentration by worshiping the Goddess on every Tuesday receives
blessings, happiness, wealth, property and everything desired. She/he
becomes a father/mother of good children. Nothing bad will happen in
his/her life.

नमस्ते त्रिजगद्वन्द्ये संग्रामे जयदायिनि ।
प्रसीद विजयं देहि कात्यायनि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ १ ॥
सर्वशक्तिमये दुष्टरिपुनिग्रहकारिणि ।
दुष्टजृम्भिणि संग्रामे जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ २ ॥
त्वमेका परमा शक्तिः सर्वभूतेष्ववस्थिता ।
दुष्टं संहर संग्रामे जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ३ ॥
रणप्रिये रक्तभक्षे मांसभक्षणकारिणि ।

Shri Katyayani Stuti
Katyayani
Stuti is the praise of Goddess Katyayani by God Ram. This is in
Sanskrit and it is from Mahabhagavat Mahapurana. Stuti means praise. God
Ram knew that Goddess Katyayani was the goddess who had destroyed and
killed demons like Mahishasur, Chandasur, Nishumbha, Shumbha and many
other demons. God Ram had to fight with demon like Ravana, Kumbhakarna
and other demons. Hence he praises the Goddess Katyayani and asked for
her blessings to help him to kill all the demons. Shri Ram Said I bow to
Goddess Katyayani who is being worshiped in all the three worlds and
who makes us victorious in the war. I pray and request you to bless me
and bring me victory in the war against demons. Goddess Katyayani has a
tremendous power. She defeats cruel enemies and cruel and bad demons. I
bow to Goddess Katyayani and request her to make victorious in the war.
O! Goddess Katyayani you are the only power which is present in all.
Please kill the cruel demons in the war and make me victorious. You like
war. You like to drink blood of the cruel demons. You like to eat their
flesh. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make
victorious in the war. Goddess you are holding Khatvanga in your hand
which is your weapon. You are wearing a necklace of the heads of the
demons killed by you. O Goddess! Please remove sorrow, unhappiness from
the life of devotees who always remember you or worship you. O Goddess!
You remove poverty, unhappiness from the life of devotees who surrender
you. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious
in the war. O Goddess! Your power, Beauty, Life and your behavior is
beyond our understanding and our thinking. I bow to you, Goddess
Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war. O Goddess those
of your devotees who always remember you, they never face any
difficulty in their life. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request
you to make victorious in the war. You have killed very cruel demon
Mahishasur and drank his blood. O daughter of Himalaya I surrender you, I
bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the
war. O Goddess Chandi, you have a very beautiful face. You had defeated
Demon Chandasur. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to
make victorious in the war. O Goddess! You have red eyes and red teeth.
Your body has become red because of the blood of the demons killed by
you. You had killed Demon Raktabij. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and
request you to make victorious in the war. You had killed cruel demons
Nishumbha and Shumbha and protected the world. I bow to you, Goddess
Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war. O Goddess! You
are the power present in everybody which kills the cruel demons and
enemies. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani please bless me and make
victorious in the war. O Goddess! You destroy the bad things and protect
and develop the good things. I bow to you. Please destroy my enemies,
demons in the war and make me victorious. O Goddess Shive! You remove
the difficulties from the life of devotees. I bow to you, Goddess
Katyayani please bless me and make victorious in the war and also remove
fear of demons from my life.
