IN QUEST OF HAPPINESS Swami Sivananda None of the objects can give him that happiness which he seeks, but which he can find only in the Spirit, his original source. The householder thinks that the bachelor is happy, and vice versa, and both of them think that the enunciates is happy, and the pseudo-renunciate, who ran away from the world because of circumstantial factors, thinks that if he had enough money, he could live the true life of a Sadhu, without having to depend on anybody. Transient things can give you only transitory happiness. A real, everlasting thing alone can give you everlasting happiness.

Love is the golden link or tie which binds heart to heart, mind to mind, soul to soul. Love is the crowning grace of mankind. Life is a sweet flower of which love is the honey. Love is the very life-breath of your heart. It is not affected by insults or offence. Love knows how to adapt and adjust, to forgive and forget.

Do your duties with full attention. Every act is worship and Yoga if done with the correct
spiritual Bhava. The tongue may always go on repeating the Divine OM silently when the body is
