The vital energy is conserved and transformed into mighty spiritual energy by the practice of continence. This powerful spiritual energy feeds the intense flame of meditation practised by the aspirant. Continence aims and achieves the refinement of the physical, vital energy and its sublimation into spiritual power. Celibacy or continence is not a matter of repression or supression, but is a positive dynamic convertive process. It is the process of controlling the sex-energy, conserving it and then diverting it into higher channels, and finally converting it into spiritual energy.

n this very time of existence, seek the Eternal. Unfold the divine perfection within you. This is the serious business of life. All other things are secondary. Give top priority to this.
