Explanation: O joy of Nanda it is late and Your friends are waiting
at the path where you left. The Gwalas and children are asking, “Where
have You gone?” Nobody wants to go to the garden to pick the flowers
without You. Everyone is eagarly waiting to hear the melody of Your
flute on the banks of the Jumuna. Why have You placed us in this sorrow?
We plead to recognise the mystery of Your actions. The earth, where You
once came in human form, is in choas. We beseech You to grant the
promise You made in the Geeta. O Mohan, nobody is here for us and man
dwells alone in this age without You.
