LIVING EXPERIENCE
Swami SivanandaVedanta is a living experience, a melting of the soul in the ocean of divine consciousness. It is neither mere theory nor dry philosophy. Mere theorizing and lecturing are only intellectual gymnastics and lingual jitterbug. Vedanta teaches oneness or unity of Self. You must radiate love to one and all. The heart must expand. The mind must be pure. Vanity must disappear. The ego must wither. Selfishness must be eradicated. There should be no thought of the little self, no identification of one's wisdom with one's name and form.Vairagya born of discrimination is the premonitory symptom of spiritual development. It will help the aspirant in his spiritual uplift.

Suffering purifies and turns the mind towards God. Suffering strengthens
the will, softens the heart and generates the power of endurance. Ever
be rooted in the thought of God. Let the constant Smaran of the Lord
ever be upon thy lips. Cling to Him fast. Think of His mercy. He is kind
and all love. He is Karuna Sindhu. There is no end to His mercy. He
means always well with you. Those who surrender to Him will have no
fear. Only happiness and joy await the spiritual aspirants in the end.
