Swami SivanandaDuring meditation the mind becomes calm, serene and steady. A single idea alone occupies the mind. Deep meditation cannot come in a day or a week or a month. You will have to struggle hard for a long time. Be patient. Be persevering. Be vigilant. Be diligent. Cultivate burning dispassion, fervent aspiration or an intense longing for Self-realization. Gradually you will enter into deep meditation and the superconscious state. All doubts will be harcleared through meditation. A mysterious, inner voice will guide you. You will yourself find the way to place the next step in the rung of the Yogic ladder,Dhar ma includes all external deeds as well as thoughts and other mental practices which
tend to elevate the character of man. Dharma comes from the Divine and leads you to the Divine.
