MESSAGE FOR CONTEMPLATION 1229

 MESSAGE FOR CONTEMPLAYION 1229

Radhe Krishhna,

Have a blessed day.

APPLICATION

Swami Sivananda

Do not depend much upon the future. Do not regret the past. Live in the living, solid present. This moment is yours. The next second is in the womb of the future. You know not what it may bring forth. Act, act, act now. Strive, strive, strive now. Exert, exert, exert now. Apply all your vigour, strength and energy. You are bound to succeed. You will surmount easily all sorts of temptations and obstacles. Failure is unknown to a man of intense application. Without intense application you cannot enter into deep meditation and union with God. O Ram! Cultivate application and attain success, plenty, peace, prosperity and immortality now and here. Sloth, inertia, idleness, carelessness, recklessness, procrastination are the opposites of application,
Broad Principles In Yoga
What are those broad principles? Truthfulness, compassion, purity—these are the broad
things which have to cover our entire life down to the minutest details. A Sadhaka cannot afford to
forget this detailed living of divine life, and his whole life, at least in the beginning, should be
characterised by restraint. He should restrain his tongue. Do not think that you can eat anything and
meditate well. If a Sadhaka thinks that he can eat anything and meditate, he is deceiving himself.
Yoga is not a toy, which you can easily take and play with. It is an iron-fort lodging well-equipped
soldiers. Yoga is not an easy thing, though saints say that Yoga is easy in order to make it attractive
to all. Therefore, every action should be done with proper examination.
Swami Chidananda

The love that you feel in respect of an object is in fact the love that you feel towards that which is called perfection and completeness.
