https://sekhar789.blogspot.Swami Sivananda Hence, every human being should relax, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, every time for at least ten minutes, lying flat on the ground with a simple rest at the head and feet, the latter a bit raised from the ground keeping the legs rest below the knees. When a job entails of being on the feet for a long time at one place then have the knees and the heels close together which would make a PILLAR for the whole BODY to rest upon and thus have weight equally to rest upon both the legs and much FATIGUE can thus be avoided. O! Man, brief is the life like a bubble, like the lightning. Make thy life beautiful through meditation and selfless service.

Discrimination is the first of the fourfold indispensable sadhanas(sadhana chatushtaya)our ancient spiritual masters have suggested and prescribed for us:viveka, vairagya, shat sampatand mumukshutva-discrimination, dispassion, the sixfold virtues and a burning desire for liberation. It is first because all other sadhanas depend upon a cultivated discipline of discrimination or viveka.
