PHYSICAL RELAXATION

Have a mental picture of calmness. Cultivate this even to the extent of having a nap for 10 minutes. All busy people should practise this science of relaxation, as rest is nothing else but the rest to the entire lot of the muscles of the physique. It is also a very useful device for the woman to retain her beauty. If she cannot relax and remains a restless woman always, she is apt to grow and look old much before time. This is indeed a very precious ornament for her if she only gets used to it.
Discrimination is not something that you just do in your meditation room or your study. Inyour room you may learn the art and science, the necessity, nature and method of right discrimination-reading works like the Vivekachudamani, the Bhagavad Gita and Gurudev'spractical spiritual books'-but discrimination itself is an internal state that has to be constantly ever active from the moment of waking up into this outer world until the moment of sleeping once again.
