9. NON-IRRITABILITY
Swami Sivananda
Non-Irritability is the precursor of violent outburst of anger. Watch
for the disturbance in the mental equilibrium. Watch for the ripples
of anger that might rise in the lake of the mind. Quell them then and
there. Do not allow them to assume greater proportions. Then you will
attain non-irritable state of peace and love.
May the grace of God and Gurudev make you of that stuff. Coming into
contact with the
philosopherÃs stone, iron no longer remains as iron; it becomes pure
gold. Not without meaning has
the Cosmic Being brought you into living contact with the sublime,
life-transforming, spiritual
wisdom teachings of blessed and beloved Holy Master Gurudev Swami
Sivanandaji. Having thus
come into contact, be heroes in this strife. Dare to live the
spiritual life unto the last and crown
yourself with the supreme blessedness of success, victory and a life triumphant!
