THE CONTRASTS

The fruit of pure action is happiness; the fruit of selfish action is pain; the fruit of foolish action is ignorance. If anyone meets death when purity is predominant, he attains to the spotless world of the Highest. If he meets death when passion or desires are predominant, he is born among those attached to action. If he meets death while he is in inertia, he is born in the womb of the senseless; he takes his birth amongst the dull and the stupid, or the lowest grades of human beings. When purity prevails, other two qualities are under subjection. When passion predominates, the other two qualities are overpowered. When inertia prevails, the other two qualities are overwhelmed by darkness.

When wisdom dawns, love blossoms. True wisdom is inseparable from universal love. Service is love expressed in action. Love and service are inseparable. Whilst love is a dual expression for non-injury, its logical fruition is in service.

. Make a study of yourself. Try to have a clear picture of your own nature. Draw a picture of yourself; weak points and strong points. Eliminate all the negative qualities. Pray to God constantly. Lead a simple life. Speak the truth at any cost. God will guide you.
