PRACTICE OF CONCENTRATION
Swami Sivananda Sit in the lotus pose (PADMASAN) with cross legs. Then fix the gaze on the tip of the nose. This is called the nasal gaze. If the mind is fixed between the two eyebrows that is known as the frontal gaze. In order to increase the power of concentration one will have to reduce the worldly activities. One will have to observe the vow of silence (MAUN), for at least two hours daily or more. When the mind runs away from the object of thinking or concentration it should be brought back again. Concentration for three hours daily will have a tremendous psychic power and WILL HAVE A STRONG will power. The innermost Self of your being is a part of God. That is your real identity, that is the truth of you, and in that “you”, there is no imperfection, there is no sorrow, there is no restlessness, no fear of death.
