The mind gets saturated with purity and every name of the lord brings countless power, if uttered audibly, because sound has shape, colour and form according to the scientific research—all divine nectar. "as a man thinketh and uttereth so he becometh" is the maxim and it further convinces that the character will be moulded by pure thinking and good thoughts; and this is also psychological law. He, who entertains thoughts of divinity himself by constant meditation and thinking, develops himself and finally becomes transformed actually into divinity; the meditator and the meditated, the worshipper and the worshipped.

Therefore, if upon this plane we discriminate and act wisely, and if we take all the help we can from  satsanga, svadhyaya and   sad-vichara, then gradually our consciousness can be made aware of the other plane, the higher plane of a spiritual awareness within our own being. And it is to the degree and the measure of your ability to lift up your interior onto that spiritual plane that the speed, the success and the fulfilment of your spiritual quest will depend.

The thought of God is like the centripetal cohesive force in a star or a planet, which drives its constituents to its centre by a pressure of inwardly directed energy, and is strikes a universally attuned equilibrium of the entire personality in relation to creation as a whole, provided the thought is deep enough and is sincerely raised in one’s mind.
