Good morning & have a blessed day, JIVA IS BRAHMAN Swami Sivananda A spark is only fire. A wave or bubble is only water. A ring or bracelet is only gold. The prince is only future king. Even so the Jiva or the individual is only Para Brahman or the Absolute. When one attains inner Illumination, when he realises his Atman he attains perfection, he attains Atma Sakshatkara, he attains his fullest expression, and he becomes one with the Infinite. He becomes Immortal. Camphor melts and becomes identical with the fire. River joins the ocean and becomes one with the ocean… This ashram is situated in a land where the unseen is the real, where man is divine, where life is a process of attaining the realisation of God, and where every action is regarded as part and parcel of this adoration, this worship and this attempt to reach God; the whole of life is pervaded by the spirit of yoga. It is a land where sages, saints, mystics and holy people in each generation have lived the spiritual life of renunciation, austerity, penance, prayer, devotion, worship and deep meditation, and having attained illumination have left behind for us the proof positive that this Reality exists, that this path is valid.
