YOGA OF SYNTHESIS
Swami Sivananda
For this purpose, I have given you the Yoga of Synthesis. You must
serve all, love all, give, and share with all, purify yourself,
meditate and realize. There is no use repeating Vedantic formulae
without putting them into practice. Do you really feel that you are
one with all? Then, you will run to the help of the needy. You will be
eager to serve. Wherever there is pain and suffering, there you will
go, and try to relieve that pain. Do you feel that your own Self
dwells in all? Then, you will love all.
Until and unless this new awareness is created and becomes the basis
of our day-to-day living, our spiritual life will still lack
authenticity, our spiritual life will still fall short of being the
genuine thing.
