Good morning & have a blessed day,
THAT THOU ART
Swami Sivananda
Within you dwells the Supreme Lord of the universe, the very life of
your life, soul of your soul, your very being. That thou art, in
truth. Realize this. What a magnificent state it is! What a glory!
What a thrill! You will instantly feel that you are distinct from the
world, from this body composed of the five elements. You will realize
"I am the immortal Atman."
That indeed would be the highest Guru Purnima worship, the highest
expression of devotion
to the
guru
. Therefore, striving with all earnestness, all sincerity, ceaselessly
try to be like them,
aspire to be like them and pray to them: ìBy my own effort and
intention, this will never be possible,
because of all my weaknesses, drawbacks and imperfections. May you,
therefore, out of your
infinite grace, complete it, make it full and whole"

The Mahabharata says that the Vedas are afraid of him who tries to
approach them without a knowledge of the correct import of the Epics
and Puranas.
