MESSAGE FOR CONTEMPLATION 205
Radhe krishna,
Good morning and have a blessed day,
GIST OF THE VEDANTA
Swami Sivananda
Renounce all desires through detachment and discrimination. Renounce the objects of the world. Renunciation of desires will follow. Thereafter live happily wherever thou pleasest. A distaste for the objects of sense is freedom and attachment to the objects is bondage. This is wisdom. Blessed is he who is established in his own Satchidananda Svarupa (Absolute-Nature). He is an Atmasamrat (Self-Emperor). The whole world will pay homage to this sage. The mind of a Jivanmukta ceases to function. He is free from delusion and inertia. He experiences the indescribable state of Wisdom, and Immortal Bliss. Attain wisdom of the Self and become a Jivanmukta here and now. Be sincere in your endeavour.
All things exist. He is there in them as Existence. All things are conscious, and though manifestation of this consciousness may be in varying degrees, He exists in them as pure Consciousness. All things have within them the inherent ability to bestow bliss. He dwells within them as this bliss-bestowing factor.
Swami Chidananda,
Hanuman is said to have told Sri Rama: "From the point of view of the body, I am Thy servant; from the point of view of the jiva, I am a part of Thyself; from the point of view of the Atman, I am Thy own Self." These three standpoints correspond to the three great systems of philosophy propounded by Madhva, Ramanuja and Sankara.
