Man is only a brute if he does not possess mercy, kindness, self-control, good behaviour, courtesy, politeness, etc. Righteousness, frankness, amiable disposition, kindness, benevolence, service and mercy will protect you from the acts of certain self-interested persons of undesirable character. Gradually cultivate these positive, pure qualities one by one. You can win the hearts of all. Serve and love. Give and relinquish. Tolerate and endure. Restrain and subdue. Forget and forgive. Adjust and adapt. Persevere and plod. Aspire and purify. Reflect and enquire. Meditate and realise. .
Just as the Sun collects all its rays at sunset and merges in the horizon, collect all the scattered rays of your mind and merge into the Lotus Feet of the Almighty Lord.

Therefore, you only contend with one day at a time. You make up your mind: “Today is
going to be a divine day. Today is going to be a God-oriented movement. Today is going to be a day
in which I’m going to be a perfect replica of God who is my Father, in whose image I am made. He
is divine, and so am I. Divinity will infill every moment of this day. This day—that is sufficient. I
will attend to making this day a perfect day. I’ll attempt, by every means possible, to make this day a
grand symphony.
